I've also noticed that some similar year subs that have been UK serviced have quite pronounced chamfers, which leaves me in a dilemma when I eventually send it for a service - to chamfer or not to chamfer? When did Rolex stop producing watches with this small detail on the lugs? There is actually a watch for sale right now (TRF sale section) that is a 16610 R-serial that has chamfers. While we're at it, feel free to post pics displaying those lugs and chamfers! You can see the lug holes are slightly angled and oval shaped which is a sure sign the case sides were previously polished.
