The ref. 1039 bracelet is no longer viable (most of the caterpillar links are broken) The clasp and 516 ends are in good condition. Trying to figure out if it is a ref 145.012 or 145.022. For those older vintage Seamasters, I'd make sure to pick a strap that's 3mm thin or less--I've got mine on a 2mm strap and it's just right. ("Ultra thin" is a good phrase to search for.) Just my opinion---but those pieces are so elegantly slender, you don't want a strap that detracts from that. I hadn't even considered making sure it's thin . Hi guys. This is a typical first generation 1171. - More recent (32) 1171/1 clasp, Ω in a square, but buckle size 34x17mm.
This is a dive watch, and as such, requires the dive clasp that comes with the watch. I’ve tried several options, but you’ll always go back to the OEM bracelet.
