I have been considering the YSL camera bag as well in a neutral color. I currently have the Gucci Soho Disco in red and mini marmont camera bag in white and LOVE them. But .I have this exact bag, and I love it but I would recommend against the black hardware too. Mine chipped very quickly and Saint Laurent wouldn’t repair it, they said it was normal wear and .As a gift to myself for becoming an RN, I really want to buy my first expensive high end purse! But for some reason the tassel on the YSL keeps holding me . The Lou Camera Bag with the back pocket now appears on the YSL site. Look at the last line under their description which I posted below.
I finally joined the YSL club! I picked up the Lou Camera bag at the Forum Shops last night. I got black w/gold hardware and it’s beautiful. It does seem to be missing the tassel though, the SA got the bag from the back and wrapped it right away so I .I have this exact bag, and I love it but I would recommend against the black hardware too. Mine chipped very quickly and Saint Laurent wouldn’t repair it, they said it was normal wear and tear. Other than the hardware this is a great bag, get the new one that has a back pocket! Bare in mind also: leather is natural product and is going to crease and bend and mould depending on how you wear and use it.
