Rolex Service seems to change them automatically with every overhaul. If you change the gaskets, do you only REALLY need to change the threaded tube if the threads are not stripped or cross-threaded? It just makes sense to replace the tube when the watch is open and apart during a regular service. The standard genuine 6.0 case tube uses a silver sealing washer between the slightly tapered case tube and case for a gasket (I have never seen one of these gaskets on a replica) and the 7.0mm case tube uses a rubber O ring gasket that fits against a flat machined surface on the case.

I've seen stripped threads in rolex, omega, hamilton and many other brands. Some insist it's not because of lubrication however I think it's the main cause then cross threading then over tightening. Bear in mind the threads can be smaller than the point on a super thin sewing needle so they are more susceptible than most even know. On the older movements its called a detente screw. On the newer movements its a spring loaded button. They changed the design because these older screws often break which requires dismantling the entire movement to remove both halves. They also loosen, which may be the case with the OP.When a Rolex watch is serviced, the movement, case, and bracelet are removed and completely overhauled and meticulously refinished to restore their original luster. Once dismantled, the technician will remove any dirt or residue from the watch parts before the polishing process.
